The son of a 517th vet, is selling a book by his Father, it is titled; Letters Home: A Paratroopers Story. 

The book was put together using over 130 letters to the trooper's Mother during the war. It tells it like it was, from training camp to foxhole. This is a book we should all get a copy of. He is printing only what he gets orders for.

The cost is $40.00 for hardback and $30.00 for softback. The price covers printing and shipping.

517th PRCT Auxiliary

This is a part of the Association, open to family or friends of former members of the combat team. It is also open to those interested in keeping the legacy of the unit alive. I feel strongly, that as funds permit, each one of us should join the auxiliary. 

The yearly fee is $30.00, which includes email updates and the quarterly newletter, "Thunderbolt". If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, you can send $20.00 (Be sure to state that you do not want the newsletter). Membership runs August to August.

Mail your check, along with; Name, address, phone #, email address, state that you are a 517th reenactor, and wheather you want the newsletter or not, to;
